VLC Mirror for Windows Phone has just received a small, but important update which adds several bug fixes and improvements.

However, the most important change is the addition of Windows Phone 8 support, though only the basic features are fully compatible with Microsoft’s latest mobile platform.

According to devs, VLC Mirror works smoothly with VLC Media Player 2.0.2, though both PC and Windows Phone 7/8 devices must be connected to the same network in order to function correctly.

With VLC Mirror, users will be able to watch their media files from a PC. In addition, they can also access all their media files while on the go.

VLC Mirror 1.2.0.0 is now available for download via Windows Phone Store for $1/€1 and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 7.5 and up. Check it out here.
