A new flavor of the ASUS Fonepad went official in Taiwan today, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor packed inside, and with 32GB of internal memory.

The tablet PC was launched with a 7-inch touchscreen display several months ago, with a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor and with 16GB of built-in storage.

The new flavor of the Android device still packs a microSD memory card slot, the same as the original version, and also sports a 7-inch touchscreen display.

However, as Engadget notes, the new ASUS Fonepad iteration will sport a price tag of NT$10,900 in Taiwan, which would make it around $360 (€279).

The original flavor of the device was launched with a price tag of NT$8,990 (around $300 / €232) attached to it.

Unfortunately, no specific info on the tablet’s availability in other markets has been provided.
