14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the Twitter for BlackBerry application is now available for download through the Beta Zone, featuring version 4.2.0.6 and some appealing enhancements inside.
According to CrackBerry, the new app release comes on devices with support for photo cards, which will display photo thumbnails for any tweet that has a photo card.
Furthermore, the new app release comes with Tweet Attributes (Glyphs), which are attached to tweets in a timeline at times when the tweet has more content than what is viewable (which can be seen on the tweet details screen).
There is also a Retweet/Favourites “Dog-Ear” included, with the status of the tweet updated as soon as retweeted or marked as favorite. Additionally, the new app flavor adds a “Similar To” section to profile screens.
