14 DAY TRIAL // An updated flavor of BBM is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10 devices out there, though it is only a beta version, being up for grabs through the Beta Zone website.
Those BlackBerry 10 users who have registered in the Beta Zone should have already received an email informing them on the availability of the update, CrackBerry reports.
Unfortunately, said email does not offer too many details on what the new update is all about, though it does suggest that it will provide users with a much better experience than before.
“One of the main areas of focus for this upcoming release will be to ensure we continue to deliver the best in class BBM experience on your BlackBerry 10 device. Please load up the build right away and let us know how it works overall,” said email reportedly states.
Apparently, BlackBerry has included no new features in the update, which suggests that it might include mainly bug fixes and performance improvements.
