While everybody’s eyes will be directed towards HTC’s Hima launch at MWC 2015, this won’t probably be the only handset coming out of the device maker.

Twitter account @upleaks has posted a bunch of pictures showing an announced HTC device going by the name of Desire 626.

We’re also given a window into its possible specifications, so we know the purported Desire 626 will arrive with a 5-inch 720p display and either an octa-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.7GHz or a quad-core Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz under the hood.

In the first case, the handset is getting 2GB of RAM, while the second scenario only includes 1GB of RAM.

The Desire 626 has a 13MP rear snapper and 5MP selfie-snapper living up in the front. The handset also gets 16GB of internal storage and a 2,000 mAh battery pumping life under the hood.

The phone is bound to come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box with HTC’s own Sense UI on top. However, the leak suggests that the handset will get Lollipop treatment at some point in the future.

As you can see in the images, the HTC Desire 626 remains true to the company’s design language for the Desire series. It appears HTC isn't willing to focus much on design in 2015. Maybe it will happen in the second part of the year, though.
