HTC’s flagship Windows Phone handset, the 8X, has been available for purchase in Switzerland for several weeks now.

Windows Phone 8 enthusiasts who have yet to grab the HTC 8X may want to take into consideration the next deal coming from Swiss retailer Digitec.

According to WMPoweruser, Digitec offers the unlocked HTC 8X heavily subsidized by Orange Switzerland, which means customers that choose to buy it on 2-year terms will only have to pay for a 10 CHF ($11/€8) contract and a 40 CHF ($44/€33) upfront amount.

This means that the HTC 8X is available for only 280 CHF, which is about $305 or €230. Simply follow the next steps in order to grab it for the amount above:

- Go to Digitec.ch; - Click on “Detailansicht” - Choose “Buy this product with a new subscription or a renewal of your existing contract and get a Discount” (you may need to open this link in a new tab); - Choose “New subscription” and “Private” (or “Youth” if you’re not yet 27); - Choose “Me – 0 Min, 0 SMS, 0 GB” for 24 months.
