The good folks at UCWeb have just released another version of one of its Android browsers, UC Browser, which brings new features and improvements.

This is the second release for an Android application UCWeb launches this week, after UC Browser Mini that was updated a few days ago.

However, unlike UC Browser Mini, the latest version of UC Browser is not yet available for download via Google Play Store, so you will only be able to get it from the developer’s website.

Anyway, UC Browser 9.8.0 brings a new, simplified menu that will allow users to find the options they need much faster. The update also brings smartphone website search function, which means UC Browser will now be able to automatically predict the site URL when a user types its keyword in the search bar.

Additional tweaking has been made as well, so users will now notice there’s a storage space reminder, which does just that, it displays the phone’s available storage while downloading. Last but not least, the browsing experience should now be smoother, as the application makes use of less memory.

You can now download UC Browser for Android 9.8.0 for free via UCWeb’s official website. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
