UC Browser users rejoice as UCWeb has just released a beta version of UC Browser 9.6 for Android devices. The new iteration is now being tested by users who are accepted in the private testing and is likely to be released in the coming weeks.

According to developers, the next version of UC Browser for Android will feature hardware acceleration, allowing for smoother scrolling and sliding on high-end Android devices.

In addition, the startup speed has been improved along with the page preloading. There is also a brand new download menu, which is cleaner and more user friendly.

Before downloading this version of UC Browser, keep in mind that the application is still in beta, so bugs and freezes might happen frequently.

You can now download UC Browser Beta for Android 9.6 for free via Softpedia. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
