U.S. Cellular has just sent us a note to inform us about its upcoming PCD Wrangler rugged feature-phone that will be available in stores and online later this month.

The handset features a clamshell form factor and has been tested to withstand water, extreme temperature, dust, shock, and poor weather conditions.

Furthermore, the dual-band Wrangler sports a scratch-resistant 2.2-inch QVGA display, as well as a mediocre 1.3-megapixel camera on the back.

The feature-phone is aimed at active people and comes with GPS tracking, speed dial, WAP browser, Mobile e-mail, extra loud audio, recorder, Voice Recognition capability, and Bluetooth support.

There's also a microSD card slot for memory expansion, an audio player and a speakerphone.

No word on the PCD Wrangler's price options yet, but stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
