There are no visible changes aside from the app’s logo

One of the most popular social network applications, Twitter has just received an update for the Windows Phone platform. Unfortunately, no visible changes have been noticed yet, and the developer failed to offer an official changelog.

Although the Twitter client for Windows Phone is identified with 1.4, the new version is 1.2.4525.19177, instead of the older 1.2.4331.15424 iteration.

We’re still expecting for an official changelog that could shed some light on the changes, but until then it appears that users have already discovered a new feature that might have been introduced with the latest version.

It appears that Twitter users will now be able to see the follower or following tweets of people who have protected accounts as long as they have their permission, which is not possible in previous versions. Check it out here.
