14 DAY TRIAL // Runic Games' Torchlight action RPG has just been confirmed to arrive on the Android and iOS platforms later this year (sorry Windows Phone folks).
Similar to the other games in the Torchlight series, the mobile version will continue to play like an action RPG title. It will also feature solid online gameplay, as players will be able to choose from different classes.
Developers hope that “as a much-beloved classic series, Torchlight's appearance on mobile platforms will surely be a well-received event by RPG and action fans alike.”
Unfortunately, apart from that, we don't have any other details on Torchlight Mobile, but we expect more info to emerge in the coming months.
As for Windows Phone, we highly doubt that Runic Games and Fedeen Games have any intention of bringing Torchlight Mobile to Microsoft's mobile platform at this moment.
Perhaps they will consider a Windows Phone version in the future, but not before the game would have gathered quite a large audience on both Android and iOS.
