Last month, Opera officially demoed and launched its new WebKit-based mobile browser for devices powered by Google’s Android operating system, currently available for download in a beta flavor.

Today, the Norwegian company provided some info on the adoption of the new mobile application, and unveiled that the most users who rushed to install it own Samsung handsets.

The top five devices on which the new browser has been installed includes: the Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Asus Nexus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Y.

“Our early adopters seem to be power-users of mobile phones as well, with high-end Android devices taking up the top spots in the list of devices used to download the Opera for Android beta,” Opera notes.

The browser is available for download for free, and can be found on Softpedia as well, via this link.
