Ting, a virtual carrier using Sprint’s network in the United States, is getting ready for the launch of Windows Phone 8 smartphones, and has already confirmed that the long rumored HTC Tiara will be one of them.

The operator announced that the handset would be launched sometime in the second half of the next month, and that it would be accompanied by a Samsung Windows Phone 8 handset.

“With all the pomp and pageantry we can muster, we’ll be bringing the HTC Tiara to Ting,” the carrier said, without offering details on the mobile phone’s hardware specifications.

The aforementioned Samsung handset powered by Microsoft’s mobile operating system remains a mystery as well, though the MVNO might have more to share with the world in the not too distant future, so keep an eye on this space for updates.
