EA has finally launched “The Sims FreePlay” game in the Android Market. The company teased Android enthusiasts several weeks ago and said that the game, as the title says, would be free to download and play.

However, those who really want to achieve something in this game will be forced to make in-app purchases that don’t come cheap at all.

Although the title might be misleading, “The Sims FreePlay” is indeed free to play, but it will take a very long time to accomplish anything without making any in-app purchases.

There are also several problems highlighted by Android users who tried to play the game. It appears that on DROID BIONIC there are some issues with the graphics, while Transformer Prime owners reported they have experienced crashes and freezes, though this might happen due to Prime’s unstable software.

“The Sims FreePlay” is now available as a free download in the Android Market and it should be compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up.
