PIXOWL, the team behind a new puzzler game for Android and iOS platforms called The Sandbox, has just announced the immediate availability of the title on Google Play Store.

The game was launched on App Store more than a month ago and iOS users can download it for free without any limitations regarding levels.

Unfortunately, we cannot say the same thing about the Android version, which only gives free access to the first story. Players are required to pay $2/€1 for 6 additional stories.

Those who don’t mind paying for extra levels will find The Sandbox pretty addictive. Basically, players can build their own worlds using blocks like stone, water and soil.

Developers promise access to five campaigns and 71 game levels in all, but players will be required to pay in order to access all levels.

The Sandbox 1.05 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3.3 and up. Check it out here.
