The Halo Back is a pretty ingenious accessory

The iPhone is a pretty clean device. Apart from the sleep/wake button and the volume rocker, Apple’s phone only dons a circular home button located at the bottom of the device.

In contrast, Android devices usually have more, including a back button, a “more” button and one that opens up multitasking a window. A setup that does make things easier.

The folks of Haloband seem to think so too, so the team has launched a screen protector on Kickstarter called the Halo Back.

But apart from providing protection from nature’s perils, the Halo Back also adds a back button for your iPhone on the bottom left of your screen.

This will make browsing on larger phones like the iPhone 6 Plus a lot easier, but owners of smaller iPhones might also enjoy the little perk.

The creators of this screen protector merely added a circuit layer, so when the bottom left corner of the display is touched, the back button gets activated.

It’s a pretty straightforward setup, but a pretty ingenious one nevertheless. The screen protector is made out of high-grade tempered glass that takes advantage of a nano layer in order to repel fingerprints.

Furthermore, the accessory offers high clarity and is resistant to scratches and drops. The Halo Back has already exceeded its funding goal on Kickstarter, so you’re welcome to place your order for $20 / €18. The protector is only compatible with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
