The sequel to the most popular endless runner game for mobile phones, Temple Run 2 has just been updated with new content for St. Patrick’s Day.

For those unaware, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated annually on March 17, so the new artifacts should activate over the weekend or early next week.

Temple Run 2 players who wish to grab the previous artifacts introduced with the Valentine’s Day update only have a little time until they become unavailable, so they should hurry up.

According to Imangi Studios, owners and developers of the Temple Run franchise, the latest update contains a special hat for your characters.

Apart from that, there will be lots of new artifacts included in the game, which can be unlocked by players during their gameplay sessions. Keep in mind that developers did not offer a list of collectable artifact, so we’re not yet aware of how many will be available in the end.

Fans of the franchise who already have the game installed should check for the update on their devices, while new players can now download Temple Run 2 for Android 1.8 for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
