The highly-acclaimed Temple Run for Android has just its deserved sequel. Keith Sheperd, co-founder of Imangi Studios, creators of the game, has just announced Temple Run 2 has been published on Google Play Store.

Initially launched on iOS, the game secured top spot of the App Store charts in just four days, having reached more than 20 million downloads.

“The response from fans has been overwhelming. We are thrilled players want more of the Temple Run universe, and we hope to grow and expand the game over the coming months,” said Keith Shepherd.

The company confirmed last week that Temple Run 2 would arrive on Android platform on January 24 and it looks like they kept their promise.

Temple Run 2 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
