It’s been three months since Imangi Studios launched the sequel to one of the most popular endless runner games for Android devices, Temple Run, and the new title is close to reaching the 50 million downloads milestone on Google Play.

Temple Run 2 has received only a few updates since its launch back in January, which proves that developers have done a good job before releasing the game for the general public.

Today, Imangi Studios has pushed another minor update for Temple Run 2, which doesn’t bring any new features, but addresses a known issue with some devices.

According to developers, this quick patch fixes a crash on launch that some players are experiencing from time to time. Other than that, there’s nothing else mentioned in the changelog.

Temple Run 2 1.1.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
