Telstra is the second Australian carrier to introduce Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 4G, after Optus launched the tablet last month.

Customers can grab the slate for free on various data plans starting at $53 per month, which offers subscribers 1GB of data.

Keep in mind that Telstra also offers a free keyboard dock and cover to all those who purchase the tablet. Check it out here.

Aside from the obvious 4G support, it is worth mentioning that the Galaxy Note 10.1 4G ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

On the inside, the tablet packs a powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Storage can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The 10.1-inch PLS capacitive touchscreen display supports HD (800 x 1280 pixels) resolution. The slate also packs dual-cameras: a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
