The folks over at TeamViewer have just released a new version of their Windows Phone application and have added a bunch of improvements, as well as a few new features.

While most of the improvements have been made under the hood, there are some important new changes that have been specifically mentioned in the official changelog published on Windows Phone Store.

Windows Phone users will be pleased to know that TeamViewer has just become faster and more fluid thanks to the improvements added to the remote connection feature. According to the developers, users should now remotely connect quicker and easier.

Furthermore, TeamViewer has received a new input editor that will allow users to use East Asian characters, which wasn’t possible until now.

Last but not least, developers confirmed that when connecting to a login screen users will now be able to configure if the remote screen is locked again after the remote session has ended.

Users of the application should look for an update on their devices, while new users can now download TeamViewer for Windows Phone 9.0.3 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up (including 8.1).
