Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices can now take advantage of yet another popular application on their smartphones, namely TeamViewer, which has just become officially available for download through the Windows Phone Store.

The new application provides users with the possibility to remotely control Windows, Mac or Linux computers in a matter of seconds, while featuring 256 Bit AES Session Encoding and 1024 Bit RSA Key Exchange for enhanced security.

The new app also enables users to view the online status of partners and connect to them via quick access, fast access to remote computers even behind firewalls and proxy servers, the option to remotely restart computers or servers from anywhere, and more.

TeamViewer for Windows Phone 8 was released as version 8.0.1.0, and can be downloaded and installed for free for personal use. The application is available on Softpedia as well, via this link.
