Windows Phone 8, Microsoft’s latest mobile OS flavor, arrives on shelves with support for taking screenshots on the go, in a simple and easy manner.

Users interested in taking screenshots of something on their devices will simply have to navigate to the screen they want to capture, and then press and hold the Start and Power buttons at the same time.

“A camera shutter sound will play to confirm you've captured whatever is currently on your screen,” Microsoft explains.

All screenshots are automatically stored in the Screenshots album in the Photos Hub, so there’s where users need to go to have a look at their captures.

For a visual guide on how to do this, simply have a look at the video embedded above, which explains it entirely. A more detailed guide is available on Microsoft’s Windows Phone portal.
