On Monday, mobile phone carrier T-Mobile announced the official release date for the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G, the latest Android-based HSPA+ smartphone on its airwaves.
The wireless services provider announced that the smartphone would arrive in a few select markets in the United States as soon as March 21st, and that users around the country would be able to purchase it starting with March 28th.
Featuring a large 3.97" Super AMOLED touch screen display, the new mobile phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 application processor by Qualcomm.
The smartphone also includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back with support for HD video recording, as well as a front camera for video calling.
It runs under Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and offers support for fast data transfer speeds on T-Mobile’s network. Users can now head over to the carrier’s website to register their interest on this mobile phone.
