HTC has recently announced that the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean upgrade is available for the international version of One S.

Although owners of carrier-bounded HTC One S units will have to wait a few more weeks to receive the update, it looks like T-Mobile USA customers will be among the first to get it.

TmoNews reports that a limited group of T-Mobile USA customers that own the HTC One S have been invited to be part of a Jelly Bean trial.

It’s unclear how long it will take for T-Mobile to successfully complete the Jelly Bean trial for HTC One S, but if nothing goes wrong, users should start receiving it in early January.

Hopefully, we will get more details on the beta testing process in the following days, so stay tuned for more info on this one.
