Arguably the best virtual keyboard application for Android devices, Swype has just been updated with some improvements and lots of bug fixes.

Those who have already purchased the application will be happy to know that the latest version of Swype features improved Gmail social integration behavior.

In addition, developers have confirmed that they have fixed a bug where helpful tips displayed despite being disabled and another one where users could not use Handwriting on Keyboard in Chinese.

Furthermore, the update addresses some crashes reported by users (including those via “Report” button), as well as other bug fixes. Some optimizations are included in the update as well.

Swype 1.5.15.19977 is now available for purchase for $0.99/€0.99 via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
