The slate is available for purchase for only Rs 6,990 ($130/€100)

Tablets with voice calling capabilities are a rare thing these days, but those with dual-SIM support are even rarer.

Swipe Telecom, an Indian operator has just announced the immediate availability of Halo Value tablet. According to Fonearena, the slate is priced at Rs 6,990 ($130/€100) and comes with a free premium leather sleeve worth Rs 699 ($13/ €10).

Halo Value is a 7-inch tablet with voice calling capabilities and dual-SIM support. In addition, the slate features 3G connectivity and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Other highlights of the tablet include 1.5 GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera and Wi-Fi support.

It is also worth mentioning that the tablet comes pre-loaded with several useful apps and services, including Olive Office Premium, Ebook Reader and Flash Support 11.1.
