Rumors on some kind of Swype-like keyboard that would be included by Microsoft in the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 operating system emerged a long time ago.

About a week ago, The Verge's Tom Warren confirmed that Window Phone 8.1 would indeed pack a Swype-like keyboard, but he did not offer any additional details on how it would work.

Today, Unleashthephones has published an exclusive video showing the so-called Swipe Keyboard, which will be present in the Windows Phone 8.1 update.

As you can see in the short video, the keyboard allows users to swipe their fingers across the keys, just like its Swype and SwiftKey competitors.

It's also worth mentioning that the Swipe Keyboard will be complemented by the superior Word-Flow keyboard in Windows Phone 8 to offer a seamless texting experience. What's your opinion on Microsoft's new Swipe Keyboard integrated within Windows Phone 8.1?
