Nimblebit, developers of Star Wars: Tiny Death Star for Android platform, have just released a new update that brings major improvements to their game.

First of all, the Imperial assignments have been completely overhauled in order for each level to support up to 3 holo-projected assignment givers. Moreover, assignments now provide additional rewards such as VIPs, Imperial Bux, Costumes, Levels and Characters.

The latest update also adds special events that will allow players to fight, for a limited-time, in certain battles to protect their battle station.

Furthermore, in the latest version of the game all non-currency rewards are shipped to players’ Death Star via the Cargo Bay. The update also introduces Facebook integration, so players can save their game across different devices.

You can now download Star Wars: Tiny Death Star for Android 1.3.0 for free via Google Play Store. The game has been confirmed to work on most devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
