Owners of LG G2 smartphones on the network of wireless carrier Sprint can now enjoy a new feature, as a software update that enables Knock Code on their devices has started rolling out.

The new firmware upgrade is available for download as version ZVD and should arrive on handsets over-the-air, with the aforementioned enhancements included.

Unfortunately, the new update does not bring along other new features and improvements to LG G2 smartphones at Sprint.

Sprint has already announced the availability of this update on its website, while also revealing that it will roll out to users in stages, meaning that some of them will have to wait for a bit longer before receiving it.

However, we can assume that the new firmware iteration will become available for all LG G3 devices in a matter of days.

Moreover, the wireless carrier notes that users will receive a notification on the availability of this update and that they will be able to download and install it by following the on-screen prompts.

Those of you who would like to learn more on how to find and update the software version of your Sprint LG G2 smartphones should head over to this page on the wireless carrier’s support website.
