Wireless carrier Sprint unveiled a few weeks ago plans to bring Windows Phone 8 devices to its offering before the end of the summer.

The company has already confirmed the released date and pricing of one of these phones, namely the HTC 8XT.

Starting with July 19, Sprint’s customers will be able to purchase the mobile phone on their wireless carrier’s network for $99.99 (€78) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the smartphone packs a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 pixels screen, a 1.4Ghz dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion.

The handset also sports a 1800mAh lithium-ion battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, as well as HTC BoomSound, with dual front-facing speakers and a dedicated amplifier, as WMPoweruser notes.
