HTC EVO 4G LTE was launched in the U.S. back in June, but the phone was plagued by several issues, which lowered the phone’s functionality.

However, the Taiwanese handset maker was hard at work in the latest few weeks and managed to deliver a software update that fixes most of these issues.

Sprint has just announced that a new software version 1.22.651.3 for HTC EVO 4G LTE is now available for download OTA (over the air).

According to the official changelog, the following changes have been included: Google security updates; Wi-Fi disconnect issue; Time zone issue; Google Wallet fix; Side loaded video pause issue; Random power cycling issue; Pioneer Bluetooth Car Kit connection issue; Gallery app crash and Calendar reminder (all day even time) issue.

In order to manually search for the update, simply head over to Settings / System updates / HTC software update / Check now.
