We have reported earlier today that Verizon Wireless may be one of the last US-based carriers to offer the Android 4.4.2 KitKat updated for Motorola Moto X, as the Big Red is about to kick off a standard soak test.

Last week, Sprint made a similar announcement, but its own soak test displeased users less than an hour after it began, due to some unforeseen issues.

Well, it looks like these issues have been addressed, as AndroidPolice confirms that the carrier has resumed the rollout of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Moto X to those who have been accepted into the soak test.

If everything goes well, Sprint users who own the Motorola Moto X should start receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat next week. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
