Sprint officially announced last week at CES 2013 that it has signed new partnerships with HTC and Samsung in order to bring customers Windows Phone devices.

True to its promise the carrier is about to launch its first Windows Phone handset and it looks like it will be from HTC.

The folks over at Engadget have just spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) a Windows Phone handset codenamed HTC PL80110, which uses band 25 LTE.

This particular frequency is specifically used by Sprint, which is why we think this HTC smartphone is meant for the Now Network.

Obviously, it's too early for any details on the phone's availability and pricing options, but by the looks of it Sprint will launch the HTC 8X pretty soon. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
