14 DAY TRIAL // Although prepaid versions of HTC EVO 3D and HTC EVO Design 4G with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board have already been announced to May 31 at Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile, Sprint customers who own one of these devices are still stuck on Gingerbread.
Fear not as Sprint plans to deliver the long awaited Android 4.0 ICS update for both HTC EVO 3D and HTC EVO Design 4G sometime in June.
Sprint VP of Product David Owens told Engdaget during an interview at the CTIA 2012 trade fair that Ice Cream Sandwich update will hit both devices “in the June time frame.”
Even though we don't have an exact release date for the update, at least Sprint customers know what to expect. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
