The slate will be available for purchase for only Rs 9,999

Indian company S Mobility is about to release a new 3G Android tablet with voice calling, the Slatepad. Although the tablet is not yet available for purchase, it has been priced at Rs 9,999 outright, which is about $185 or €140.

According to fonearena, Spice Slatepad comes with SIM card slot and 3G connectivity for blazing fast data speeds. The tablet also packs a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.

It also features a 1GHz single-core processor, a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Spice Slatepad is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
