Mobile phone maker Motorola has already confirmed plans to bring to the market this year the long rumored Moto X phone, yet it did not provide specific info on what the device would have to offer to users.

However, a recent leak from @evleaks suggests that the handset would not land on shelves as a high-end smartphone, as previous rumors suggested, but that it would be only a mid-range device, still capable of delivering appealing performance to users.

Apparently, Moto X will hit shelves with a 1.7GHz dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Pro processor inside, paired with 2GB of RAM, and will feature 16GB of internal memory.

A 720p touchscreen is also expected on this device, along with a 10-megapixel photo snapper on its back, and a 2MP front camera for making video calls. The phone will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it seems.
