Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is getting ready for the launch of a new device on June 25, and rumor has it that it might be the Sony Xperia Togari phablet that has been rumored for quite a while now.

The handset vendor has already sent out press invitations for an event set for that day in Germany, but did not provide specific info on what will be announced.

All that the company said was that it planned on providing the press with a glimpse at the future, and rumor has it that the aforementioned Xperia Togari smartphone would be the main dish served there, a recent post on techkiddy reads.

The smartphone will arrive on the market with a 6.44-inch Full HD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, a design similar to that of Sony Xperia Z, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 loaded on top.
