Sony Xperia ZL is the next major product to be introduced by the Japanese handset maker in Canada. The smartphone is now up for pre-order at Sony Online Store for $675/€510, but it’s locked on Rogers network.

The Xperia ZL will be available in Canada from multiple carriers, including Rogers, Bell, Mobilicity, TELUS and WIND Mobile.

Well, it looks like the folks over at MobileSyrup have been able to confirm Sony Xperia ZL will hit shelves at Bell on April 2.

Given the fact that neither carrier has exclusivity on Xperia ZL, we expect the smartphone to be available at multiple operators around the same timeframe.

Sony Xperia ZL will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but the smartphone has been scheduled for an Android 4.2 upgrade in the coming months.
