After launching the Xperia Z4 flagship only in Canada, Sony today revealed the international version which will go on sale as the Xperia Z3+.

Sony didn’t make a big fuss about the launch and to be honest the new phone is nothing to fret about. All in all, it’s basically the Xperia Z3+ plus a new Snapdragon 810 under the hood, better selfie camera and a slimmed down design. That’s about it.

But there’s another aspect that might make you think twice about purchasing the Xperia Z3+. Sony has already rolled out the first commercial for the new Xperia Z3+.

In it, the device maker shares an important aspect with us. Apparently, the 2,900 mAh battery fueling the insides of the Xperia Z3+ is capable of sustaining a life cycle of up to two full days.

So maybe the Xperia Z3+ is worth another look after all. The smartphone arrives with a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, 3GB of RAM and a 20.7MP

The phone continues to offer the same IP65/68 certification for dust and waterproofing. IP68 translates into the fact that you can emerge the phone into water up to 3m / 9.8 ft for up to 30 minutes.
