Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile will soon make official a new device in its popular Xperia lineup, in the form of Xperia Z2, codenamed Sirius; the phone’s front frame appears to have leaked online today.

A series of photos available courtesy of Japanese parts retailer Moumantai offer a better idea of what the device might look like, and confirm that Sony will launch it with about the same outer design as the Xperia Z and Xperia Z1 before it.

The leaked part also shows DoCoMo's logo on it, along with the Sony's at the bottom, as XperiaBlog notes.

The smartphone is expected to arrive with a faster processor and a larger screen compared to its predecessors, while running under the latest version of Android out there, namely Android 4.4 KitKat.

Sony was initially rumored to plan the launch of this device at MWC 2014, but enthusiasts might have a bit longer to wait until that happens.
