The smartphone is expected to go official later this week

The smaller version of Xperia Z1 leaked several days ago and we already have the first pictures showing the alleged devices.

Dubbed Sony Xperia Z1 mini, the smartphone is expected to be officially unveiled on October 10 at NTT Docomo, in Japan. Today, blog site rbmen has leaked NTT Docomo's lineup for Winter 2013 and Xperia Z1 mini is showed on one of the pages.

As previously reported, the smartphone will be released in Japan as Sony Xperia Z1 mini f, but it might get a different name once it is released internationally.

According to the latest rumors, the Xperia Z1 mini will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It will also pack a 4.3-inch HD (720p) display and a 20.7-megapixel main camera.
