Sony is about to introduce the Xperia Z1 in South Korea, four months after the smartphone was officially released on the market. The handset will be available for purchase via major carrier Korea Telecom for £430 / €515 / $705 outright.

In addition, XperiaBlog reports that the Xperia Z1will be available for purchase via Sony Store locations in the country. Along with the Xperia Z1, Sony will also release the SmartWatch 2, which will be available for £125 / €150 / $205.

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but an Android 4.3 upgrade will probably be available soon after release.

Other than that, there aren’t any major differences between the international and South Korean Xperia Z1 versions. For more details on the smartphone’s specs and features, check out our database for the Sony Xperia Z1 full specs.
