Sony Xperia Z has been recently introduced in Australia, but the phone is expected to go on sale sometime in March.

However, customers that want to make sure they will be among the first to own the Xperia Z can now pre-order the device via Sony Online store for no less than $750/€580 outright. Check it out here.

According to AusDroid, the Xperia Z will be available in Australia beginning March from all three major carriers in the country: Vodafone, Optus and Telstra.

Unfortunately, there are no details on exact release dates and pricing options for any of the carriers listed earlier, so we’ll just have to wait for more details to surface in the next few days.

Sony Xperia Z will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but it has been confirmed to receive an Android 4.2 upgrade soon after launch. More details on the smartphone’s specs are available here.
