Australian carrier Telstra has just announced it has started to accept pre-orders for Sony’s flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z.

Moreover, as AusDroid points out, the carrier offers a pre-order bonus to each customer in the form of a free Sony wireless NFC speaker, worth $130/€100. Check it out here.

The Xperia Z will be available in black, white and purple color options for free on select plans starting at $63/€50 per month. Keep in mind the purple Xperia Z is exclusive to Telstra and is only available online.

Android enthusiasts and fans should know that Telstra will take pre-orders for Sony Xperia Z until March 26, so we must assume that is the day the carrier plans to release the smartphone. Stay tuned for more updates on Xperia Z’s availability in Australia.
