The Xperia Z is clearly one of the most expensive smartphones launched by Sony Mobile. Several carriers and major retailers around the globe have already confirmed that they would offer the device beginning with February.

The folks over at GSMArena report that the smartphone has just been listed at Amazon Germany and is now available for pre-order for a whopping €650/$870 suggested retail price. Check it out here.

Amazon does not offer any details on the phone’s exact release date, but we will keep an eye out on this one.

Sony Xperia Z features a water- and dust-proof body and ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
