Sony’s next flagship Android-based smartphone is nearing its official unveiling at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, but we can already have a closer look at what it will have to offer in terms of design.

Expected to arrive on shelves as Xperia Z, the smartphone was spotted online before as Sony C660X Yuga, and is said to sport a large, 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, along with a quad-core processor inside.

The new set of leaked photos with the handset (courtesy of Weibo and ePrice) appear meant to stress on some of the main features it will arrive with, such as the Full HD Reality display, or its water resistant chassis.

Furthermore, the mobile phone will be launched with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, an Exmor RS camera with HDR on videos and photos. Xperia Z will also sport OptiContrast panel and a “Skeleton frame structure,” it seems.
