Shortly after Xperia T, another smartphone is now receiving its promised Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, the Xperia V.

According to XperiaBlog, Sony Xperia V owners in several European countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden have already received the Jelly Bean update.

It appears that Xperia V users will be able to upgrade directly to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system (firmware version 9.1.A.0.490).

Given the fact the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, it will take some time until it reaches all Sony Xperia V owners.

Sony confirmed Jelly Bean would arrive on Xperia T, TX and V starting in February and the upgrade would be pushed to all devices over the next few weeks.

However, carrier-bounded models will receive their update a bit later, so stay tuned for more info on this one.
