Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is currently planning the release of its Xperia T3 smartphone on more markets out there, and should make it available in Hong Kong as soon as the next week, on July 14.

Sony has already confirmed plans to make the device available there, with a price tag of HK$2,998 (£226, €284, $387) attached to it.

As XperiaBlog notes, the phone will be released in Hong Kong in three color flavors, namely Black, Purple and White. Unfortunately, no info on the arrival of this device on European markets has been provided as of now.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Sony Xperia T3 was made official with a large 5.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, while featuring a 7mm thin body.

The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, which should ensure pretty decent performance capabilities.

Moreover, Xperia T3 arrives on shelves with 8GB of internal memory, a 2500mAh battery, and support for 4G LTE networks. On the back, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel camera with Exmor RS sensor, paired with a 1.1MP front camera for video calling.

Sony Xperia T3 was released with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top but should receive upgrades to newer OS iterations for at least one year.
