14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Xperia SP has finally arrived in the UK. The smartphone is now available for purchase at Orange and T-Mobile for £250 / €295 / $390 on PAYG (pay as you go).
As XperiaBlog points out, the smartphone will go on sale at other UK-based carriers and retailers in the next few days, including O2, EE (Everything Everywhere), Three, Clove and Handtec.
The Xperia SP ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a 1.7GHz dual-core processor.
It also sports a 4.6-inch Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, a capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
Other highlights of the smartphone include: 8-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing photo snapper, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and HSPA+ support.
